This is one of the areas of expertise that we thrive on at Barre Buddha. Our founder Ali Modica is a certified barre, Pilates, and yoga instructor with nine years of experience instructing barre and mat Pilates. She has also been a practitioner of yoga for more than 20 years.

When it comes to moving it all starts with the breath. Moving energy throughout the body and feeling your body in space. We LOVE to ground into our feet (inside and outside) to feel that connection to the earth. Working on the strength of the feet will directly impact the strength of your legs, benefit your postural integrity and help you stand strong in your magnificence. If that is beyond your capacity, chair work is an option too!
